Serendepia Lab…

Serendepia Lab participates in VIATICUM 2, a European project to improve the skills of rescue volunteers

Serendepia Lab is part of VIATICUM 2 – Volunteers In Action To Improve Competences Under Mission (KA220-ADU), an ambitious European project that takes rescue volunteer training to a new level. Coordinated by Edelweiss Protezione Civile (Italy), together with partners from six European countries, the project introduces innovative tools to improve the efficiency of rescue teams.

In this initiative, we are expanding the European Rescue Volunteer Manual with new chapters, developing a multilingual pocket manual and, most notably, integrating virtual reality simulations for more practical and realistic training. These improvements will help optimise the preparedness of rescue teams, strengthen international cooperation and raise awareness in society about the importance of civil protection.

A big step towards the future of volunteer training and international cooperation!
