The HUGS PRO project, coordinated by Famiglie per la Famiglia Fondazione ETS (Italy) with the participation of Serendepia Lab and partners from France, Cyprus and Morocco, aims to train and validate the role of Voluntary Support Worker (VSW) to accompany new mothers and their families. Through a European course, an updated manual and the creation of a common profile for this role, HUGS-Pro seeks to improve emotional and practical support for new mothers, promote intergenerational cohesion and transfer the model to the Euro-Mediterranean scale.
