HUGS PRO is an ambitious European initiative under the Erasmus+ program. The project was created with the aim of humanizing the digital age, using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technological tools as a means to improve emotional support, mental health, and social cohesion among European citizens.

The Challenge

In a post-pandemic and highly digitized environment, loneliness and the lack of accessible support tools have become critical challenges. HUGS PRO seeks to transform technology into an ally of well-being, ensuring that digital innovation does not create barriers, but rather builds bridges of support and care.

Main Objectives

• AI-Driven Well-being: Develop and promote the use of AI tools that assist in the emotional well-being and health of vulnerable adults and groups.
• Professional Training: Train educators and social workers in the use of emerging technologies to improve the quality of their support.
• Ethics and Digital Empathy: Establish a framework for the ethical use of AI, always prioritizing empathy and human connection over automation.
• Social Inclusion: Reduce the digital divide through learning methodologies that facilitate access to digital health solutions for all.

The role of Serendepia Lab

As a strategic technology partner, Serendepia Lab leads the integration of advanced solutions in the project:

• AI Content Development: We are responsible for translating complex Artificial Intelligence concepts into practical and understandable tools for the welfare sector.
• Digital Transformation: We contribute our consulting expertise to ensure that HUGS PRO solutions are scalable, secure, and user-centered.
• Social Innovation: We actively participate in the design of training programs that combine technology with the “human touch,” one of our hallmarks.
